In addition to academic advisement, counselors are available to help students with personal and career concerns.

Online resources include:

  • Mental Health Mental Retardation of Tarrant County (MHMRTC) - Tarrant County local resources for life issues, stress, child care, parenting, alcohol, drugs, mental health, disabilities and more.
  • The Parenting Center - providing families with the tools to succeed.
  • WebTribes - online community support site for people who suffer from addiction, anxiety, depression, OCD and HIV/Aids.
  • ULifeline - resource for suicide prevention, drugs and mental health.

Safe Space Program

The Safe Space Program is designed to raise awareness on the dynamics of gender, sexual orientation and identity. The program is also designed to help make college a safer and more supportive environment for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions.
