Plagiarism is forbidden by the TCCD student code of conduct. As defined by the code of conduct, the term “plagiarism” includes, but is not limited to, the use, by paraphrase or direct quotation, of the published or unpublished work of another person without full and clear acknowledgment. It also includes using materials prepared or sold to you by another person or company and passing those materials off as your own. Plagiarism may result in the assignment of a failing grade on an assignment, an examination, or in a course. The course instructor will also submit a written report of the incident to the instructor’s dean.
