Legal Research Guide (NE): Websites

Be Careful!

Not all instructors allow the use of internet sites as references.   Check with your professor to be sure you are allowed to use websites for your research.

Searching Google

When browsing Google remember:

  1. The more specific your keywords (family law vs. law), the better your result list will be.

  2. Use available search tools to narrow your results.
Google Web Search

Keep in mind that anyone can post anything on the Internet.  Use the CRAP method for evaluating websites.
