What: TCC Southeast Campus Garden has six cement benches that need decorating.
Rules:
- Bench Theme: Please submit a proposed bench painting that represents Sustainability.
- The six best submissions will be selected to paint on an actual bench (2 ft by 4 ft).
- Any TCC student, faculty, or staff member can submit a design with no more than 5 individuals in a group.
- The design must be an original design by the student or organization.
- The design must be appropriate for all audiences and in good taste. Any design deemed inappropriate by the Sustainability Committee will not be eligible.
- Paint supplies will be provided by the Sustainability Committee.
- The six benches will be publicly displayed at the TCC Southeast Campus Arbor Day celebration/event and then moved to be permanently displayed in the Campus Garden.
- The design must be entered during the contest period between 2/1/2025 and 3/13/2025. Please submit the file to the Sustainability Bench Painting Competition Website.
When: Please submit your proposed bench painting before March 13, 2025.
Winning submissions will receive a pizza party, the opportunity to paint their designs for display, and a gift card to the TCC SE bookstore. Winners will have between 3/24 and 4/11 to paint their benches before display at TCC SE's Arbor Day event.
