In support of the Tarrant County College District’s third goal to Serve the Community, our campuses offer students, faculty and staff a variety of opportunities to participate in meaningful community service through campus events, course-based service-learning projects, and/or a general desire to conduct community service individually or with a group.
Service opportunities range from community cleanup events to providing support for local food bank operations and beyond. Your time and effort in the community not only benefit the organization for which you volunteer, but also provide you with invaluable experience and personal growth opportunities. Community service activities promote an increased awareness of issues facing our community, networking opportunities both on and off campus, and the ability to develop skills that can be directly applied to one’s profession or area of study.
