Databases

What is a Database?

  •  Contains previously published information from credible sources
  • Collects information that is usually hard to get
  • Professional and peer-reviewed sources
  • Not the kind of stuff you usually get on the Open Web with a Google Search

Google Scholar

Stand on the shoulders of giants.

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research. NOTE: not all items are necessarily in full text, some items will require payment before viewing.
