Instructions for checking out items from TCC Libraries including requesting an item, cancelling a request, and curbside pickup instructions.

Curbside/Front-Door Pickup for Library Loans

During the 2020 Fall semester, all Tarrant County College libraries will continue virtual services Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm through our Ask-A-Librarian and Tech Expert chats.  You can also reach us by phone.  In addition, the libraries will be providing pick up service for most items.

  1. Place a request for your item(s):
    • To request a Chromebook or a tablet:
    • To request books, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, audiobooks, or board games:
      • Place a request through the library web site. (How do I do that?)
      • Ask for assistance from the Library Chat (On the library home page or text (817) 769-6940).
      • Call the library:
        • Northeast - (817) 515-6609

  2. An email will be sent to your TCC email address when your items are ready to be picked up.

  4. Please be ready to show your student ID or valid government ID to pick up your items.
  5. What can I check out from TCC libraries?
    • Most books, audiobooks, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs are available for curbside/front-door pickup.
    • Board games may be checked out from their home campus, but will not be transferred to another campus for pickup.
    • Magazines and course reserves are not available for curbside/front-door pickup.
    • The legal collection is not available for curbside/front-door pickup.
