This guide is for students enrolled in MATH 0090 classes. The resources listed here will help you find success in math.

Practice Tests, More Ebooks, and Tutorials

Below are two library databases with very helpful practice tests, tutorials, and more ebooks for adult math.

You will need to set up a free account to use all the features in LearningExpress. There are several levels of math practice:

  • Math Skills Review: practice tests for various concepts are under the Developmental Math section 

You will have to search within Mometrix for study materials, but it is well worth the effort!

  • Mometrix Academy: Click the link to Mometrix Academy on the left side of the Mometrix homepage and scroll down to the Subject Review section. The Math Review has video tutorials on various math concepts. 
  • Search Box: Use the search box at the top of the main Mometrix page to find ebooks, practice tests, and online flashcards. Some searches you might try are Accuplacer math, TSI math, GED math, or SAT math to find review resources.

Websites Outside the Library

If you are having trouble with a concept, look for different explanations of it. The more ways you hear something explained, the more likely you are to find an explanation that clicks for you. There are a number of websites that offer math help.
