PSYC 2301 TR Williamson

A research and study guide for PSYC 2301 as taught by James Williamson at the Trinity River campus.

Who Do I Turn To?

TCC's Learning Commons offers a number of specialized departments intended to help students with their research. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of options available to you. This is especially true when one is feeling pressure while trying to finish a research paper.

Relax. The staff of the TCC Learning Commons is here to help you.

However, it will save everyone time if you know all about the Learning Commons areas and who specializes in what.

Library - Beyond organizing all of the research materials at TCC, the librarians offer research help to students and faculty. They can show you what resources are available and teach you how to make use of those resources.

Supplemental Instruction - This peer-led program offers guided study sessions that teach how to collaborate with other students, take better notes, and basically learn how to learn. It is an advanced form of tutoring, working with specific faculty members on key courses.

Writing Center - The Writing Center is devoted to helping you get your papers into the finest form possible. This includes helping you with proofreading, annotations, and the art of essay writing.
