HIST 1301/1302 TR McCambridge: Find Books and E-books

This guide will help you locate sources for the critical thinking reports in Mr. McCambridge's History courses.

TCC Catalog Search

TCC Catalog Search on the library homepage is the best tool to use to find books, e-books, and DVDs. Try your search here:

Select "In the Library" from the drop-down menu to limit your search to books, movies, and audiobooks that live in one of our TCC campus libraries.

Select "Ebooks" from the drop-down menu if you'd prefer to get a list of electronic books that you can read online or download to your device.

Search Tips

Search Tip 1 - Keywords

  • In the TCC Catalog box, select "In the Library" for print books or "Ebooks" to search for electronic books that you can access on your device.
  • Type the key words that describe what you're looking for. Don't type a question in the search box. Just use the words that relate to your topic.

Search Tip 2 - Filter Your Results

  • Use the filters in the left-hand column to narrow down your results by resource type, date, and subject.
  • Check for availability underneath each item title. Items in any library's circulating collection may be requested for curbside pickup. E-books are viewable by selecting the "Available Online" link.

Search Tip 3 - Know Your Options

Once you find a book that you want to look at more closely, locate the link to view the book online (for e-books), or sign in to request the book via curbside pickup (for print books).
