Student Services: Technology

Students may check out a SurfaceGo device for the entire semester.  Built-in WiFi is available, if needed.

The main library has 19 computer stations with the following software and hardware installed:

  • Acrobat Professional and Reader DC
  • BlueJ and Dev-C ++ (computer science, at stations 3 and 4)
  • CD/DVD Player (no burner)
  • Google Earth
  • Internet Web Browsers: Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Chrome
  • MS Office Professional 2019 and MS Office 365
  • Photoshop (stations 3 and 4 only)
  • Special software for ADA accommodations: JAWS, Fusion, Natural Reader, and Zoomtext (stations 1, 2, 17 and 18)
  • Microsoft Surface device docking stations (stations 5 and 6)
     

Adjacent to the library is an open study space (Fish Tank) with 17 additional computers.

You may print in black & white or color using the wēpa Print Stations, located in various places across the campus.

The library has one KIC scanner. Free scans can be emailed or saved to a thumb drive.

The library has a black & white copier. Copies are $.10/page. 

There are nine study rooms, four of which are equipped with a monitor for screen sharing and a DVD player.

Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the library.
