Using research techniques to find primary sources for History assignments utilizing both library and outside resources.

Finding Primary Sources in the TCC Library Catalog

Use the Advanced Search option on the TCC Library Catalog (left side of the library homepage).  Clicking this will take you to a page which has two Search filter lines.

First off select the eBooks option at the top. Use the Any field keyword search for the terms “primary sources” and/or “primary documents” in the first field and then the subject of your inquiry in the second field.  

Another good method for the catalog is to select eBooks and use the Any field search for the words: “Eyewitness to History” and your topic. Alternately you can use “Documents of” in the search.
