HIST 1302 Book Report List

Books not available at your South Campus Library

Not all the books referenced in this guide are available from the South Campus Library. If a book is available at another TCC campus library that information is noted in the book description. You may request a book from another TCC campus be delivered to the South Campus Library for you by filling out an Inter-Campus Loan Request form at the South Campus Library Circulation Desk or by following these steps:

  • Go to http://library.tccd.edu
  • Click on My Library Account.
  • Login with your TCC login
  • Search for the book in the TCC Library catalog.
  • Click on the book record and look at the blue area to the right side of the screen.
  • Click on Inter-Campus Loan Request under the "Actions" menu.
  • Follow the instructions for filling out the form and submit.

Checking out library books

Books owned by the Tarrant County College Libraries can be checked out for three weeks at a time during the Fall and Spring semesters and two weeks at a time during the Summer semesters. All books are due on the last day of the semester, so you will sometimes get a loan period that is shorter than the stated three weeks.

Books may not be kept past their due date. You may extend the loan period of a book one time if no one else has requested the book by placing a hold or an intercampus loan request. Please do not fail to return a book because others may need it. You may NOT check out a book the first week of class and expect to keep it for the entire semester. If books are not returned on time a hold will be placed on your transcript and you will be blocked from registering for subsequent semesters until the book has been returned.

Present your student ID along with the book at the Circulation Desk of your campus library. If you are a current TCC student but do not have your student ID when you want to check out a book, you may present your current semester schedule and fee statement along with a picture ID (such as a driver's license) along with the book at the Circulation Desk of your campus library.
