Open Textbook Initiative : American Institute of Mathematics
The American Institute of Mathematics (AIM) seeks to encourage the adoption of open source and open access mathematics textbooks. The AIM Editorial Board has developed evaluation criteria to identify the books that are suitable for use in traditional university courses. The Editorial Board maintains a list of Approved Textbooks which have been judged to meet these criteria.

This is a Texas State University specific database of courses and related open resources. Course information for Texas State University was pulled from The Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)’s Texas General Education Core Curriculum WebCenter for the calendar year 2024.

Community College Consortium for OER (CCCOER)
The Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources (CCCOER) promotes the awareness and adoption of open educational policies, practices, and resources. Their CCCOER Email Group is a highly active community and an excellent forum for asking questions and identifying existing OERs.

TCC's Adobe Creative Cloud Options

TCC provides employee access to the Adobe Creative Cloud. There are several options for creating customized graphics.

Adobe Express
Create graphics from templates. This is somewhat similar to Canva.
Adobe Firefly
A generative AI program that will allow you to create images from written prompts.
