Getting Started with zSpace: First Steps

A basic introduction to using zSpace and some of the educational resources available, designed for the faculty and staff of TCC's Trinity River Campus.

Getting Started with zSpace

Whether in a laptop or all-in-one unit zSpace offers few challenges for experienced computer users. The systems plug into a standard power outlet easily enough and the zSpace stylus plugs into the system. The zSpace glasses do not plug into the system, but care must be taken to avoid obscuring the reflector points on the glasses, which are used to track the viewer's eye movements.

The stylus has several buttons on it, but the center primary button is used most often for selecting objects and pulling them out of the screen. The left and right buttons are used for other functions in other programs.
