If you are enrolled in TCC classes and do not have a device or do not have internet, please fill out the device request form. Devices are loaned on a first-come, first-serve basis while you are attending classes. Many of our devices are loaded with a data card you can use in place of internet service.
TCC provides students with a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) which allows access to the software you will need for your classes. Software on the VDI includes Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe Reader, and more. To access the VIDI, visit http://cloud.tccd.edu/ and log in with your myTCC email and password. Go to the VDI help page for more information and troubleshooting advice.
If you run into any technical problems during your classes, you can contact Tech 24/7. They know a lot about the computer programs and settings needed for your TCC classes and can answer most of your questions in real-time.
Microsoft Office 365 is available at no cost for TCC students, faculty, and staff. Make sure you use your TCCD email address to set up your access.
Knowing how to use a computer is a skill that needs to be developed just like any other skill. Classes may require you to do tasks and use resources you may not have previously encountered. Your TCC Learning Commons staff are available to answer questions about classwork. If you are having computer problems, check in with our tech experts on Tech 24/7. The links below will take you to free computer help resources.
