The Hazlewood Act is a State of Texas benefit that provides qualified Veterans, spouses, and dependent children with an education benefit of up to 150 hours of tuition exemption, including most fee charges, at public institutions of higher education in Texas.

These programs offer educational assistance to spouses or dependents of service members who are either deceased or permanently disabled.

Immersive one and two week academic workshops or "bootcamps" provided free of charge to enlisted veterans and held at some of America's top colleges and universities. These bootcamps assist with the transition from the military to college.

Financial aid varies as each case is based on individual needs ranging from rent, utilities, vehicle payments, groceries, clothing, and travel expenses.
